HOME / UPS cabinet battery cabinet installation - CAPTURED ENERGY SOLAR (PTY) LTDThe screws to be used are the M4 (12 pcs). Insert the UPS into the rack and tighten the provided four screws. The screws to be used are the M5 screws. Read the safety instructions on chapter 2 before installing the battery cabinet. Connect the 1st battery cabinet to the UPS using the previous instructions.
Line-up-and-match battery cabinets are installed adjacent to the UPS. The recommended installation location is on the right side of the UPS cabinet. See Figure 2 and Figure 3 for line-up-and-match configuration views. Contains two or three battery strings to be used with the 93E 30 kVA UPS.
The battery cabinet frame is not referenced to the DC circuit. Each battery cabinet has its own overcurrent protection device. External battery cabinets can be used in combination with a UPS containing internal batteries. Internal battery strings are to be connected by an authorized Eaton Customer Service Engineer.
Roll the EBC to the final installation location on the right side of the UPS cabinet making sure the doors are flush with each other. Use leveling feet only to lock the cabinet in place. Using the leveling feet to raise the cabinet may result in serious injury to personnel or damage to the cabinet.
